nudity can portray many things:

i have drawn nudity to represent weakness: vulnerable.

plus, the human body can be very beautiful and artistic!
just because it has nudity, does not mean it's porn.

Doesnt really mean its art either. Do a search here for nudity, and see how many of them are just people standing naked in their bedroom or bathroom like we give a damn. This is an art community for *fine* artistic nude, not self nude shots. any other site on the internet, it shouldnt be at deviantart.

And similarly, people always assume that since nudity is always porn, child nudity is therefore always child porn. I hate the porn industry, it's ruined human nudity as a thing of beauty!

Just because it's not porn doesn't mean a child should be taken pictures of while they're nude. Just because it isn't FOR that doesn't mean a creep wont see it that way. And even if most people don't their's just some thing you wouldn't make a child do. In the same way it'd be wrong to force them into doing pageants, playing sport, theater, any of that, it'd be wrong to take naked pictures of them.

Who said anything about photographs? That was an assumption. And that would be porn in the context you're using.

The way you commented you made it seem like you meant photographs, especially being being on a stamp that says "Artistic nudity is not porn." When people think about artistic nudity they think about a picture of someone being naked in an artistic way. Being you commented on this about child nudity it was fair enough to assume you were talking about pictures.

When I think of artistic nudity I think of paintings, drawing, sculptures, that's all I have to say.

Well, that, as well, either way it's something visual, which when you talk about child nudity on something about artistic nudes, then rather it be a sculpture, a painting or a photograph, it's child nudity in a visual form... It's just.... It's a nude child. You know? I hope you kinda understand where I'm coming from.

i agree the porn industry has ruined every clear thought of nudity and replaced it with dirtiness now almost everybody thinks it is porn its just not right nudity is a thing of beauty not simply a dirty thought

Maybe, but nudity isnt's automatically art, you know. And a hella lot of people forget that- especially here on dA.....

Yes, I am well aware of that.

However, if you would take notice, the stamp says 'artistic nudity' emphasis on the artistic. I'm fed up with people veiwing 'artistic' (see where the emphasis is) nudity as porn.

Yes, but before people start to declare every little crap as "artistic", they should learn the fine differences between slight erotic and pure trashy perversion. That's what I'm tired of. I barely see some real good "artistic nudity" works here on dA. Most of that is what it is- porn

Alright, well clearly you enjoy reading your own writing and clearly you have some sort of vendetta agains nudity.

Fine by me, if you look at my gallery it has none of that. Thus none of this applies.

With that in mind, since I neither produce any of this stuff nor do I even allow it to be posted, why the hell are you bitching at me for it?

If you genuinly have a problem then talk to the moderators or the people posting the stuff...not me.

Well, it rather seems that you have a problem with what I'm saying. I never "bitched" at you, but if you can't stand to receive critical comments about your works, maybe you should better disable comments in general, huh? Because you were the one showing that stamp here on dA, right? I was just commenting on it. I can't see where I was bithing at you. But maybe you just take things too personal....

Wow, clearly I was right about the fact that you enjoy reading your own writing... who italicizes on DA?

Also who else in their right mind tries to argue with someone that does not disagree with them?

I never disagreed with the fact that a lot of nudity on DA is not artistic (I wouldn't go so far as calling all of it porn, but it's not artistic). However, what I did state was the fact that I am frustrated about how people view artistic nudity, actual 'artistic' nudity as porn.

I would like to believe that my stamp reflected that opinion.

And I don't take things too personally... If I did I would probably have been tempted to make a statement similar to that of "Perhaps instead of going around DA starting pointless arguments with people, you should instead invest that time in something productive, for example: ending your childish, overgrown obsession with Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and actually getting a life."

I italicize on Deviantart...

for EMPHASIS.

Tis quite fun. :iconicameplz:

I do agree with this stamp, but it doesn't apply to me, considering I don't practice photographing or drawing nudity...

Lol, you're seriously funny, I can't stop laughing about your crazy comments. My "overgrown obsession with TMNT", ROFL!!!! Maybe it's you who should get a life first, bunny! :XD: because creating those stupid stamps isn't what I'd call useful, neither does it show much of creativity. This comment shows you haven't even really seen half of my other works, blind fish.

Go dig a hole and bury yourself in it. ;) I won't waste more time with a baby who's crying just because someone dares to say bad things about it's favourite toy. ^^

Well, if you want to get stamps you need a paid account, I think... I could be wrong.

For the amount of time that I have been on here I know very little.
